Draft Remanufacturing Standard Submitted to ANSI for Public Comment

Nov 25, 2015

RIC continues to move forward with development of an American National Standards Institute (“ANSI”) standard to define and describe the process of remanufacturing.  As an ANSI accredited standards developer, RIC enlisted a broad cross section of producers, users and other stakeholders to form a Consensus Body.  The Consensus Body participated in the creation, refinement and approval of a draft standard document for public review and comment.

ANSI published the draft document for public review in its publication, “Standards Action” on December 18.  RIC invites you to review the draft document and welcomes your constructive input during this comment period, which ends February 1, 2016. Please send your comments and suggested edits to Paul Stiebitz, Interim Executive Director, at RICdirector@RemanCouncil.org.
