Remanufacturing Industries Council is pleased to announce, in collaboration with Rochester Institute of Technology, an in-depth roadmapping workshop to be held September 29 - 30, 2016 in Troy, Michigan. RIT was awarded a grant by the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to lead a strategic roadmapping process to identify remanufacturing research priorities and improve remanufacturers’ capabilities and competitiveness of US-based firms. The final step in the process is an in-depth roadmapping workshop where senior-level thought leaders representing all industry sectors will provide their input and insights.
The working, active-participation workshop will hone in on cross-cutting challenges; identify remanufacturing industry advanced technology objectives; and set research priorities. The information gathered will be synthesized into an actionable plan to advance the US remanufacturing industry, and help guide future government investment. More information about the roadmapping project can be found here.
